About

I started in car audio at Circuit City in Plano TX in the summer of 2000. I was in a band and thought a job related to music would be fun for a 19 year old. While at Circuit, I learned the basics of car audio wiring, vehicle disassembly and alarms.

Over the next 9 years, I moved from Circuit City to Tweeter Home Entertainment, where I learned fabrication with wood, fiberglass, paint and upholstery. I spent a few  years at Car toys in the Dallas area before going out on my own in 2009.

I started and ran Soundscape Car Audio from 2009 to 2019 during which, we earned Mobile Electronics  Magazine's Retailer of the Year 2016. I expanded my skills in DSP tuning and metal fabrication while developing relationships with high end manufacturers and other shops around the country.

I closed Soundscape in Dallas in 2019 after some personal life changes, moved to Colorado Springs and began working for Elite Auto Salon. I continued doing the same work from an employee perspective for the next 3 years.

In April of 2023, I left EAS to open a small, project based shop. I had developed some great client relationships that reminded me how much joy I derived from building systems for people who appreciate them. I feel home here.

As of 5/11/23, I am still looking for a shop space to operate out of. I appreciate the patience of my current and prospective clients while I work this out!
